Wintercross at Airborne
- Dates: Jan 29, Feb 12, Feb 26 and March 12
- We have the go ahead, just not sure what part of the property we will use.
- Based on conditions, we will see.
- Incenetivize people to not hit cones
- Will be announced soon.
- Who is available this Saturday to Scout the track?
- Alex B. Afternoon. Stephen D. mebbe, Jeremy, Gates will be open by noon. Will be getting a key in the future.
- Daily schedule. Looks Great Jeremy! Taking advantage of early daylight.
- no runs before 10am
- 90db sound limit.
- 2012 was our Last wintercross Event.

- Paul found good Ice on the Boat launch side, not sure abot the Beach access side (where we are allowed to use)
- Looking at March 11 and 18th?

AutoX 2023 season
- Diamond Run Mall? Still waiting to hear back.
- no points for aerodynamics with SCCV autoX (classing)

- Established the MotorSport Reg Info
- Requests have been sent
- Ambulance, wrecker, timing, communications are all set.
- waiting on Insurance
- Starting next year: All cars must have a log book. This year one will be issued if not had
one. Will be issued at no cost.
- George Rooney will be organizing workers Thank you George
- Kirkey aluminum seat needs a BackBrace. IOPort and summit racing have options.

Summer Autocross
- Dates on Saturdays and Sundays. Seems that what was voted on.
- Do we have approval for Diamond Run yet?
seems like we are real close, should know for sure by this Thursday
- do we have a place to keep our trailer during the summer season?

RallyeCross
- Got a call from Airborne thanking us for this season. (WinterCross)
- The track itself will be useable for us next year.
- Can we use the track this summer? SIS (insurance company)
also should be cheaper that K & K
- have clubs had multiple insurance policies in the past?
- Mix of Dirt, clay pavement. also have the lights for a possible night event?
- are we as a club interested in RallyCross?
How rough is it on our cars?
- Maintenance of the course throughout the day is a big consideration.
- Cumulative timing is key. Consistency counts.
- Rick Swan may be a resource for this. Much experience in RallyCross.

- Airborne runs their races on Saturdays.
- Maybe for this year just one Event to see how it goes?
- Weekday possibilities? They do have substantial lighting.
- Camping onsite available? Very Much so!

- a collective car? Club car. available to all? Crown Vic 850.00 ?
- What kind of tire? Mixed surface. cool.

April 18th Monthly Meeting

Diamond Run Mall event this Sunday
- Course design? and condition report from Ed.
- Let's stick close to our typical events from last season
- Fire extinguishers. Need attention. (Josh will check on dates)
- Sand Bags needed? for Canopies? - Weather? Rainy, possibly windy...
- Chalk in case the rain makes the rain makes it gone? Duct Tape can also work.
- Karts allowed?
Not at first event.
How loud are they? (95db? info from Bob D. Thank you) Is there a noise
ordinance in Rutland? (untill 9pm can be loud, thanks Ed)
- a lot of discussion about exhaust concerns. Basically, we will be open to re-thinking after the first event.
- Also safety concerns for Karts will be re-assessed after first event (thanks Alex and Ryan)
- Safety Comity?
we kind of do as a group. But good idea. perhaps

- big hurdle is getting trailer from Rutland, up to Plattsburgh and back....

- Complicated. What are SCCA guidelines?

- 25 states and provinces attend:
- Big weekend event, Charities, auctions, drives...
- Looking to do an AutoX.
- could we partner on a AutoX that weekend? I hope so!
- Just Minis or more open mined? sounds open.
- car count from the mini group? 20 . (cool)

- move our Oct 7th event to the 21st? and have MTVT join?
- or keep our Oct 7th event and ad the 21st? we can check with DRM...
- we hope we can all participate.

Airborne RallyCross Oct 28th
- we are approved. lets move forward.
- All tires will be accepted except for Bolt / Super-stud tires
- course will be prepped.
- using the actual clay course. (fun!)

- Ryan D. has offered his welding skills, (lets not get him overwhelmed)

MTVT Minis Take VT 10/21/23
- We have approval from DRM
- working out details with notifications and details.

RallyeCross 10/28/23
- getting trailer we'll work on logistics and details, we have options
- Hold off pushing this till after Canaan
- Lets try to get a car out there before hand to check conditions

Autocross Feedback in general
- Got feedback from many that maybe the last event was too technical
Many were off course and confused as was showing in results
- discussion about area we are supposed to use or not. seems we went to far Saturday
- adding to drivers meeting: Work responsibilities. stay committed if at all possible, if can't stay,
please let people know
- Let people know there are instructors available to help out. And that is a good thing. We are all
learning. lets add this to drivers meeting
- work station addition after finish to provide feedback right after the run?
- require that a novice has an instructor with them on their first run?
- try to get novices to drive in second group.
- traffic control ideas

SCCA Tragedy
- recent deaths at an autocross may bring more focus on safety. Yes, Stay Safe!

- 12 entries, kinda dissapointing. Many people are waiting till last minute to decide.

Trophies and Season Points and Rotating awards
- Should be able to tally after this weekend.
- gotta figure out when and where and how to transport our trailer.
- Alex is looking into options. What is the turn around time?

Rally Cross
- when can we go check it out?
- will get the dollar amount for the insurance
- how will we do timing? Take top half of the runs and average them

Board Nominations
- Josh will create a poll soon.
- Event coordinator. should they be at all events? or be able to coordinate behind the scenes.
Does NOT need to be at the events, just coordinate and make the event happen.
