Due to many factors, mainly another kid, going back to school and the government furlough, I am selling my 1998 Subaru 2.5 RSti. Had it for less than a year hoping to take it to the track, but just don’t have the time or money any more so looking to down grade a bit. 182k on the body, about 60k on the motor and 50k on the drive line. Underside is in super shape, undercoated last fall, top side has a few chips from highway driving but is otherwise perfect. Made 300\315 on a mustang dyno OS tune, 93oct pushing 20lbs.
2005 USDM Sti Motor
2007 USDM Sti transmission hubs, axles and diff
Exedy twin plate clutch
08 Sti VF48 turbo
08 Sti Intercooler
Invida TBE (cobb pictured)
K&N Airfilter
Mishimoto radiator
Optima battery
Walbro 255
DCCD Pro diff controller with thumb wheel
GrimmSpeed 3 port EBC
New paint last year
08 Sti black calipers
Spec-C JDM front seats
ASA 17” wheels painted with the Grimspeed gold BBS paint
RaceComp Engineering Tarmac 2 coilovers
Rally Armor mud flaps
1 year old Bridgestone Potenza RE070, plenty of tread.
Alpine deck with polk speakers
Lots of other mics parts, not installed like 2 gauge clusters, gauges, extra steering wheel trim bits etc.
I am sure there are a few more things I am forgetting, but is otherwise a great car with lots of potential.
The motor does go through some oil, about half a qt every 500-700 miles. I suspect its a crank vent issue or the turbo due to the amount of oil residue in the intercooler. Joey thinks the same since the compression checked out
$12000,
98 WRB RSti
