I'm actually going to bring 2 sets.
That should equate to twice as fast!

Why 2 sets? You typically only have 3 tires on the ground!

I wasn't able to make it to the last event due to car troubles and I was told I would be credited the cost of the one I missed to the next one, not sure how exactly I should register for this one since I don't want to pay twice

You can register online. Your account shows a $35 credit, so when you go to pay for the event, just use the credit.
