Sorta like last year: it hung around 9-10" for what seemed like forever, then a cold snap and "bam" 13"Dave_G wrote:But take heart, the weather forecast for Colchester looks like this:

If you don't have a car, ... what will you use to play on Lake Iroquois/MB?dc2sirg wrote:Aww man, I wish I could... I don't have a car this year!! How's your new ride treating you so far?
Willoughby is all spring fed, I would be very worried about the ice quality with constant infusion of 50 degree water, but I never ventured down there in the winter. I know lots of people are driving on Memphremagog though. Not sure how much of a PITA the police would be though. They've been known to be a bit "controlling", but some of the officers really are cool while other are not.pdudley42 wrote:X2 to Josh. Big fun on little $$$.
Just to throw it out there, if it turns out that there is significant ice in the northeast kingdom, is anybody enthusiastic enough to make the journey? Yup, on a snowy day it could take three hours to get to Lake Willoughby from btown, but if this cold snap doesn't do it, I'm gonna...well...snap.
