i just ordered my hawk race pads, and goin to be replacing the brake fluid with new racing blue dot-4, should be ready for slmp with the STi

I have a question thats probably be on most of our minds considering the recent weather pattern. What if it rains? It gets cancelled and we get refunded? We try to make the best of the poor weather and hope for breaks in the rain?


Figured I'd ask since its a determining factor for if I'm going to register or not.

SLMP in the rain is a lot of fun. The runoffs and relatively low speed make it quite safe. In the past, we've red flagged the course if it rains really hard and wait it out. Sometimes certain drivers will willfully go out in the rain for some extra slippy practice. So it would have to be a dramatic rain event forecast in order to cancel the event.
Peter, what kind of tires are you driving on? Obviously that has a lot to do with your wet weather success and grinability.

Awesome, thats what I like to hear! I have 225 Fuzion ZRi tires, not the greatest but not horrible.

We have labor day weekend set with the track owner. If we have enough interest to at least break even on the event we will have it. I believe we are going to open registration the beginning of August. I'll keep you posted.
