Jeremy got the S2000 home without incident. It sounds (and looked) like it had a slightly bent tie rod, but it sure looked cool with no bumper. His dad knows someone with a body shop so it's going there today. It'll be back (perhaps with an aftermarket front bumper?).
I had a great time Saturday, again with lots of new faces and the return of the Collinss. Track it too damn tight for a 360, but a good set of esses on the back straight provided plenty of excitement anyway. My favorite part was the offset slalom on the front straight followed by the quick right (with braking) into the nascar turn.
My least favorite part (but most memorable) was being the best-equipped car on the road at the top of a sheet-of-ice Killington gap with cars off the road every which way, and one on fire. Hopefully the ONLY time that car ever has to drive on salt. Immediately following that I figured the race would be a write-off, but mother nature gave us one more great day of autocrossing.
Big thanks to all, from hollerer-in-chief George to all the corner workers.
Now, how about two 180s?

All told I think I had 4 180s!

Had to leave after my 4th run. Wasn't feeling well (damn cheeseburger) and I had to get to the UVM hockey game.

Great job to Chris and Dennis getting the timing lights back up and running.

Awesome job by all workers signaling in cones and what not.

Great drives by the Collins' down the front straight--to them it looked like a straight from where I was standing!

Oh, if anyone wants the original files (huge!), just ask. I posted them at 1200 px wide instead of the full size version.
