A link here to the 2011 SCCA list for stock classes if you are interested in where your car might be placed this year. D stock again for me.

I'm either going to be class 3 or 4 dependent on tire choice.

Since my car shows up as "B" on this list, does that mean I should be in class 4? Sorry if this is a dumb question, but going by the detailed list on the autocross classing page I would be class 5.

It means you start off in class 4, then if your modification points are 15pts or more, you'll end up in class 5. Class 5 is probably appropriate.

Thanks for the clarification. If I counted right I will have +15 points this year, and would be class 5. I was originally thinking I was starting as class 5 and then adding points...

It looks like car #178 will be in class 6 but I am not sure if it will be allowed too race or not for what I have read on the form but just too let you know that when I did run with SCCA solo I was in E-Mod. :3gears:

Butch, you are 100% welcome at our events. Don't worry about that. As far as class goes, it seems to me that some time ago we decided that the only thing in class 6 was to be karts/buggies and home built creations. All "normal" cars top out in class 5. Not that I could tell you where that is written.
