It's autocross time!

July 20th 8am at Devils Bowl Speedway 2743 Route 22A West Haven.

We need your help to make these autocrosses happen. We need some new faces to help run the events. Some of the regulars may be missing this year. So if we want the events, WE have to make them happen.

For the third autocross we need the following:
Chair- Paul D
Co-
Registrar- Brent M
asst Registrar- Tucker M

Tech inspector 1- Shawn M
Tech inspector 2- Rob


Worker coordinator 1-
Worker coordinator 2

If you can do one of these tasks, please let me know in the thread below or contact me however you feel comfortable.

You may register at this event on site, without having to pay extra.

Price is $40 member $50 nonmember.

Spread the word. Get your car ready. New comers start asking your questions....you know you are curious about something.

Make sure your battery is secured. You need a M or SA 2000 rated helmet or newer. IT MUST HAVE the foil snell sticker. Looks like this http://www.smf.org/images/decals/sa05dec.jpg


Usually the sticker can be found inside the helmet under the padding somewhere. If it isn't bolted down inside your car, take it out. Make sure you have no loose suspension bits(grab each of your four wheels) and shake it in every direction possible, there should be no play. It's easier to check with the wheel jacked in the air.

I can do tech or worker coordinater. and there should be no reason I cant make this one.

I will chair the event, unless someone else really wants to.
Tell your friends; perhaps offer them to co drive your car. I've got Nick Goldberg driving mine too. We need more drivers for these eventssss.
Who is coming that can run the timing computer?

PAUL I believe I will be draging two people down with me. one raced last year a couple times, and the other is green. plus I have a few more maybes.

I am a novice autocrosser and I am planning to attend this event . Do you guys have any loaner helmet that I can borrow for this event?
